Saad has been covering the Middle East & Africa region for the past 23 years in various leadership and producer roles. Saad started his career at Citi in 1993 and worked in different roles ranging from relationship management, structuring, corporate finance and sales within  corporate banking, Islamic finance, capital markets and fixed income sales & trading, In 2005, Saad moved to Merrill Lynch where he spearheaded Merrill's structured credit sale business in CEEMEA and fixed income sales business in MENA.

In 2006 Saad moved from London to Dubai to set-up and run Goldman Sach's MENA securities business and was a member of the MENA management committee. During his tenure at Goldman, Saad played a key role in building GS's franchise in the region across all asset classes. Saad was also responsible for setting up both Merrill and Goldman's Islamic finance businesses and on-boarding key Islamic accounts.

In early 2011, Saad re-joined Citi in Dubai to lead the Citi Alternative asset management business (Citi Capital Advisors-CCA) for MENA.

In late 2013, Saad became part of Napier Park when CCA's hedge fund business underwent a management buyout as a result of the Volcker Rule. Saad received his BS degree in Engineering from Purdue University and Master’s in Engineering Management from Cornell University.
